Why do we feel frightened
when we want to battle injustice? My confidence comes and goes while I am
waiting for the key person to arrive. I rehearse what to say time and again and
each time with some different arguments. It is really tough to stand against
authorities known by abusing their power. Imagine when he/she is your immediate
boss, and you are a student. I believe the result which I would reap
later on is likely to be desirable, but at the time being it is so bitter. So, I
have come to know that fear is unavoidable and therefore I should let it be.
Talking about human dignity
is wonderful when Mr. Obama speaks eloquently on the platform of African Union head
office, but it becomes nonsense in the context of Ethiopian public offices.
